SharePoint 2013 design & implementation that housed a beautifully constructed intranet portal to communicate information on the merger of Scientific Games with WMS.
Scientific Games approached our partner, Brown Bag Marketing, to provide design solutions that would help manage communication around the merger in a positive light. Our design team was able to provide immediate support for this initiative by drawing on our extensive experience with SharePoint UI customization.
Communicating merger information across both companies is no easy task, and the perception of such an initiative required an empathetic approach to not only the visual communication, but the content as well.
By leveraging the tools and capabilities of an Enterprise CMS (SharePoint 2013) our team developed a robust communication tool customized to their needs, and presented with class.
ADP engaged IA to redesign their public-facing Trusted Advisor Bulletin website.
The existing site was visually tired and did not implement any content management functionality.
ADPs layout requirements for the bulletin content required significant customization of the available CMS modules.
We developed the new website on top of the DotNetNuke CMS, which provided ADP non-technical users with the ability to update content on a regular basis.
The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) engaged IA to design and implement a suite of enterprise websites on top of the Microsoft SharePoint platform.
NAIS had recently completed an organizational re-brand and needed to redesign all of their public facing web properties. In conjunction with this effort, they were looking to reorganize their web content to better fit visitors' needs.
The existing NAIS website included a tremendous amount of content, most of which needed to migrate to the new environment. In addition, the current content management system was clunky and inefficient, resulting in a lack of content refresh and updates.
IA collaborated with NAIS to split the existing website into multiple sites geared specifically to visitors' intent. We developed a new Information Architecture and creative theme for each of these micro-sites and built them into the NAIS SharePoint environment. We then developed a content migration utility that automatically consumed the existing web content and migrated it to the appropriate location in the new platform.
MCG approached Innovative Architects to help refresh their existing site through updated branding, and current web standards in Design and User Experience.
Midtown Consulting Group's existing public facing site did not effectively communicate their brand or service offerings. IA engaged in a creative effort to determine opportunities to streamline navigation and information architecture.
Anytime a site needs to be rethought, there are inherent challenges. First being, where should certain information be communicated, and does it use an efficient, reusable model that supports all site content? In addition, how is that information visually communicated in respect to the brand requirements and overall look & feel?
Our primary goal was to leverage DNN's powerful Content Management System as a solution to the ever-growing need of keeping content fresh and up to date. With this in mind, we developed unique libraries to manage their content, refreshed the dated navigation structure & content strategy, and created a new spin on their current branding standards.
WayPoint approached Innovative Architects to help refresh their existing site through updated branding, and current web standards in Design and User Experience.
The folks at Waypoint have an extensive portfolio to showcase, however their legacy site did not reflect or communicate their expertise and knowhow. IA was approached in an effort to streamline existing information architecture and update the site's look & feel to reflect a recent branding initiative.
While an extensive portfolio is something we all strive for, its worthless if it can't be managed. Leveraging DotNetNuke's CMS platform, IA custom built modules to support the management of not only their robust portfolio, but their informational content as well, through a super sleek interface for admins and public-facing users.
In addition to utilizing DNN's powerful CMS, our designers were able to dissect Waypoint's business needs for a public-facing site, while also providing creative vision for the final product.
Synergetics engaged IA to create a new SharePoint online hosted intranet to manage their organization information and project tracking. The project included migrating information from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint online.
The migration of content from their existing SharePoint 2007 environment to the upgraded 2013 site required us to approach design cautiously, but not without new branding considerations.
Migrating from 2007 directly to 2013
Public-facing site with CMS tasks admin capabilities.
The City of Covington engaged IA to redesign their public website and migrate it from SharePoint 2007 to 2013.
Covington's exising website didn't present the town as the growing, vibrant community that it is. In addition, the outdated platform made it difficult to update content on a regular basis - a crititcal requirement for a municipality's website.
Besides design and new platform implementation, Covington required custom functionality to support a job posting workflow and posting of City Council meeting minutes and videos.
The new website promotes Covington's personality and provides the necessary back-end functionality to manage web content in an efficient manner.
CredAbility, now Clearpoint, is a non-profit credit & budget counseling agency with a passion for educating their clients while also supporting their financial goals. IA provided collaborative and implementation support for internal customer service applications (guided phone sessions), as well as public-facing consumer sites that helped users evaluate their personal distress and budgetary goals, while creating a customized strategy to alleviate their credit burdens.
IA developed a mobile video recording booth designed to help consumers show off their personality with music and their favorite pair of sunglasses!
Ray-Ban was interested in developing an interactive display that would help introduce consumers to the brand. The display would be featured at various retailers and events throughout the year.
Besides being visually interesting and entertaining, the interactive display needed to operate in both online and offline modes, due to occasional lack of Internet connectivity. Since the system records videos, lack of bandwidth provides a major problem.
IA developed software that guides consumers through the process using a touch-screen interface. Consumers select their favorite pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and enter the studio to record themselves "Rocking out like a Rockstar". The recorded video is uploaded and available for viewing and sharing via social media.
IA developed an interactive leaderboard system that tracked team performance on longest drive, closest to the pin and putting competitions.
IA developed an interactive leaderboard and scoring system that allowed consumers to compete in various golf-themed games for either Team US or Team Europe.
The system tracked data gathered from Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Putting Challenge games. Scores were converted to matchplay format and updated real-time on various large-screen monitors throughout the exhibit.
The leaderboard system generated tremendous interest amongst consumers, with many re-visiting the interactive later in the day to see how their team fared. Most consumers elected to receive a link to their "personal leaderboard", which could be shared via social media.
Fix your hook or slice with a little help from golf's most respected swing analyzer.
IA-I worked with National Car Rental to develop a consumer golf swing analysis and training system in conjunction with their PGA sponsorship.
The system was required to utilize golf's leading swing analysis device, Trackman, to provide swing video recording and insight into over 20 key data points. In addition, an on-site PGA pro was available to provide personalized instruction.
Swing data was uploaded to an online retrieval website where consumers could view, share and compare their swing data against PGA pro Keegan Bradley.
Customized instructional videos were also displayed, targeted to weaknesses indicated by the swing data. The videos were recorded by reknowned PGA instructor Mark Bradley.
Assurant Solutions engaged IA to develop a new creative theme for their Service on Demand ® business unit. The existing site was visually tired, and suffered from low conversion rates. IA developed a creative strategy that implemented a vibrant UI along with various calls-to-action to improve consumer engagement.
